Lagkage hos La Glace - Layer Cake at La Glace

Til trods for at jeg var slap efter min mave-virus i begyndelsen af ugen, tog jeg afsted i går og mødte to venner på konditoriet La Glace. Det var et efter-lukketids-arrangement, hvor man får kaffe/chokolade/te og masser af kage, mens man hører om La Glace, der blev grundlag i 1870. De har haft telefon i 119 år! Det er et charmerende, smukt sted med traditioner og vidunderlige (lag)kager. Ingen bake-offs der!
Tag der ind en dag, hvis du har mulighed for det. Der er en faglig stolthed der inde, som man ikke møder ret meget mere.

I dag står den på tørre kiks :-)

I was a bit tired from my stomach virus earlier this week, but yesterday I went to Copenhagen and met two friend to go to patisserie La Glace. It was an after work event, where you get coffee/hot chocolate or tea and lots of cake, while you get a lecture about the history of La Glace, which was founded in 1870. They have had phones for 119 years! It is a charming, beautiful place with traditions and wonderful (layer)cakes. No bake-offs there!
So if you ever go to Copenhagen, go there. There is a professional pride, which you don't meet much these days.
